Happy Birthday our little Trace-man! We had such a fun day celebrating - just the 4 of us. Trace was in a terrific mood today and Trista loved helping make his day so special. We all cuddled in bed watching cartoons until 8:30 just taking it easy. We headed out and enjoyed a round of minature golf at lunch time. Trace & Trista played all 18 holes and Trace was bummed when his ball disappeared on the 18th hole and he couldn't reach far enough in the hole to get it back. After nap time, Trace got his birthday present - his own golf cart to drive around. He & Trista played on it for at least an hour. He has some practicing to do, he already ran it into the corner of the garage putting a ding in his front headlight (sticker headlight was scratched - high gear is pretty fast!) After dinner we enjoyed cake brownies - even Trace sang "Happy Birthday To You" in anticipation of blowing out the candles and he was happy to let his sister take a bite of his birthday cake too!
Trace - we are so proud of you and enjoy your smiles & hugs so much. You keep us laughing and keep us running after you. We love you more than you can know.
Just to record a few of your favorite things at age 2:
- GOLF
- lining up your cars on your bedroom floor
- swimming
- soccer
- jumping
- trains
- GOLF
- play computer
- reading books - especially animal books
- shooting hoops
- being a copy-cat to your sister (usually being goofy together)
- favorite sayings: "galf-car" (golf-cart), "hold chou" (meaning hold me), "come-on", "golfing", "do-na" (donut), "my turn", "water, go under", "pease", "sissy", "SCORE", "almost", "oh manners"
- GOLF

Play it where it lies! No cheating for this guy - he crawled under the rocks to hit his ball.

It's tradition - what can we say!

Making a mess of the entire cake may not be tradition, but they sure had fun.

Trace got to open a present from Grandpa & Grandma Myers and he just kept shouting, "Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles" and pounding the box.
