Trista & Trace love the water - they take after their dad! It is so nice to see them enjoying the water. Ryan worked with Trista on our vacation in Gulf Shores and now she can swim on her own. We still need to be close by, but she can swim underwater, jump in, dive for rings and she loves zipping down the slide. Tonight she made it half way across the pool using a version of the breast stroke under water. Trace loves to swim too - but his version is squatting down in the kiddy pool and reaching & pulling with his arms and he waddles forward singing "swim, swim, swim" the whole time he goes. He also loves to yell "mark, and, go!" and jump in the air and land on his bottom with the water just coming up over his mouth. Tonight at the pool, he wanted to go under. He has gone under plenty of times jumping in, but this was deliberately putting his face in the water and he did it over and over and got more brave each time, until I was holding him out at arms length and he would say "under" and dip his head in and I'd dip him under water to me.
