my baby is in kindergarten (sniff..sniff...)

Today was the BIG day we have been talking about for months!  Our baby started Kindergarten today.  It was such an exciting morning!  Trista handled it like a champ (Mom?...not so much)  I am sad my baby is growing up, but so excited for her because she has been ready for this for some time.  She wanted to ride the bus, buy her own lunch the 1st day of school, walk herself to her classroom, and just take off into the world of school.  We decided to take it one step at a time starting with buying her milk for lunch.  I just hope that excitement lasts the whole day through and is still there tomorrow when she realizes she is going back.  We are so proud of Trista and know that she will do outstanding in Kindergarten.
Trace was not happy about waking up early and he kept saying he did not want sissy to go to "kinnergarten".  This will be an adjustment for him too!
Trista was excited to carry her own backpack.  We actually took it into school at Orientation, but she wanted to carry it the first day!  (You will notice it is in all her pictures - she wouldn't take it off)
Daddy walking her into school.
Trista is proud to be a Grizzly!
Trista in her classroom.  We didn't stay long at all - in fact, she told us good bye outside her classroom, but I snuck in to take a quick picture at her desk.  Good Luck baby girl - we love you!
