The kids were so excited for Easter morning. The Easter bunny came and filled their baskets and hid the eggs all over the family room. Trista woke up at 5:00 and came down to tell us that the Easter Bunny had already come - she was ready, but we made her go back to sleep in our bed until 6:30. They also enjoyed going to the worship service at Church with us. There was a point in the service where the pastor asked us "How many of us have messed up?" and Trace raised his hand - it was too cute! Of course, when I asked Trista is she messed up, she said an honest and innocent "No", so then I asked her if she has done anything she should not have done and she admitted "Yes".
We are so thankful that Jesus died and that he rose on Easter morning that we may be saved from all those mess ups and join Him one day in Heaven. Oh what a glorious day that will be!
