Pacer Game

Grandma treated us to a fun night at the Pacer game on December 26th. The kids enjoyed the entire night - from the face painting, balloon creations, giving Boomer high fives, eating cotton candy, and even watching the game. Trista tried to keep her face painting until the next day and was so disapointed when it rubbed off on her pillow that night. Trace runs around yelling "shoot", "score", "2 points", "play basketball". Thank you Grandma for all the fun.

Snow Day at Grandpa & Grandma's

These slideshows are addicting because I don't have to narrow down the number of pictures. It is helping me catch up and hopefully finish my 2009 posts.

This was such a fun day spent with cousins.

baking cookies

With 5 kiddos and Christmas coming fast, we knew we couldn't commit to an all day baking extravaganza, but we wanted to fit in at least 1 batch for the kids, so we decided to turn them loose and let them make their own cookies to enjoy. We had a fun & crazy morning - Trace kept eating the dough, the twins loved the sprinkles - both to eat and shake, Adrian & Trista wanted to put every type of decoration on each of their cookies. But in the end, they were edible and the kids had fun - that is what it is all about :)

Silver Dollar City

We decided to venture to Silver Dollar City in December to see the Christmas lights. It had been such a warm November, we were hoping for good weather, but we picked the 1st cold weekend of the winter to take the kids up to Branson. We joined up with the Greth & Kelly families and did have a pretty good afternoon in the park - all bundled up. The parade of lights was suppose to be at 7:00 which didn't seem too late until the sun went down and it got colder. We stuck it out and then rushed out of the park following the 5 float parade. The kids did enjoy the day and then we headed back to the hotel for pizza & popcorn and then swimming the next morning.
